PDF icon is displayed in Microsoft Word [Solved]

There are situations the application icon will display the wrong icon. For example, the Microsoft Office Word document is displayed in PDF icon. If this has happened, you may have mistakenly set the wrong default program to try to open the Word file. You can try to fix this using the simple solution steps below.

1. MS Word icon become PDF icon

2. Choose Default Program

Single click on the file > Right Click > Open With > Choose Default Program...

3. Choose the Correct Program

Select the correct program > Click OK (Make sure the check box is ticked for " Always use the selected program to open this kind of file")
